Direct Cremation Cheshire

If you need to arrange a direct cremation in Cheshire, you can speak directly with our team about what has happened, what needs to be arranged and what the next steps will be. Our standard service is £895.

You do not need to understand the funeral process before you contact us. For many families, this is the first time they have ever had to make arrangements like these, so questions are completely normal.

We will ask a few straightforward questions about your loved one's circumstances, explain which parts of our service apply and make sure you understand the arrangements before anything goes ahead.

Direct cremation removes many of the elements associated with a traditional attended funeral. What it does not remove is the need for professional care, clear communication and respectful treatment throughout.

If you are unsure where to begin, simply contact us. You do not need to have every detail decided beforehand.

Circumstances That Can Change the Cost

£895 is our standard service price. There are some circumstances where additional arrangements are needed, so we believe it is better to explain those clearly rather than leave families uncertain.

A Death at Home or in a Nursing Home

If the coroner is not involved, a local third-party funeral director may need to carry out the initial transfer. This would be charged separately.

Additional Bariatric Needs

Additional staff, specialist equipment or an oversized coffin may result in an additional charge. In some circumstances we may also be unable to provide the service.

Delivery of Ashes

Hand delivery of ashes to an address in England or Wales can be arranged separately. We can also explain available options where ashes need to be sent overseas.

Our Approach to Additional Costs Explained First

Where an additional charge is relevant to your circumstances, we will explain it before the arrangements proceed.

Useful to Know

Questions You May Have Before Arranging a Cremation

These are some of the practical questions families often want answered before deciding what to do next.

Transfers

What if my loved one is in a hospital or hospice?

Tell us where your loved one is currently being cared for when you contact us. We can then explain the transfer arrangements and whether the standard service applies.

At Home

What if the death happened at home?

Please contact us and explain the circumstances. Where the coroner is not involved, a local third-party funeral director may be required for the initial transfer and this can involve an additional charge.

Ashes

What happens about my loved one's ashes?

We will explain the available arrangements for the ashes. Hand delivery to an address in England or Wales can be arranged separately, and overseas options can also be discussed where required.

First Call

Do I need to decide everything before I call?

No. You are welcome to contact us simply to ask questions and understand what your options are. We can talk through your circumstances before you decide how you want to proceed.
